I chose Sebastian Beach for my sunset shoot, picked a night, and set out. At first, the sky glowed with soft pastels - calm and dreamy. Then, as I rounded the corner, the whole horizon suddenly lit up fiery orange. That’s the magic of a Vancouver Island sunset - it changes in an instant, and every minute feels completely different.

Her experiments pushed me to see differently - in the best possible way. So I decided to give it a go - setting my camera to monochrome mode and heading into nature with fresh eyes.
